Princess “Frozen” Birthday Party

For my daughter’s 5th birthday party this year she wanted a princess birthday party.  But more specifically she wanted Queen Elsa to really be the main theme!  It was a lot of fun to plan!  Since she is getting older I let her help pick out everything and make everything this year, which was really one of the highlights of her birthday for her!

We made Princess Scroll Birthday Invitations!

We ate Queen Elsa Blue Velvet Cupcakes

My daughter helped me make the dough and use cookie cutters to make the shapes and then at the party each child picked out the shape they wanted and got to paint it!
For fun we made our own Ice Cream!
Each child got to make their very own ice cream to have with their cupcakes!  It was a simple ice cream recipe and they had fun shaking the milk in the baggies and seeing it turn into ice cream!  It was a little bit of magic at the party!  Plus add in some sprinkles and it is even more magical!
Ice Cream Recipe
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 Tbsp Sugar
6 Tbsp Salt
Gallon size baggie filled 3/4 full of ice
quart size baggie
Sprinkles or candy
1.  Mix milk, vanilla, and sugar together in the quart size baggie.  Also add sprinkles or candy here if you want them!
2.  Put the salt into the gallon size baggie filled with ice.
3.  Zip the quart size baggie and place it inside the gallon size baggie.  Zip and Shake!
4.  Shake shake shake shake!  Until it becomes Ice Cream!!
